Every painting starts as a digital image, I use the latest in technology from many different resources to create the painting of your dreams. This way I can send an image for you to view and request changes if need be. I'm happy to go through this process as often as necessary until you approve the final draft. I then create the painting stroke by stroke in the traditional method of applying paint to canvas. The result is a finished art piece that is just like the digital image you approved so there are no unpleasant surprises. Another great benefit of this system is that since we already have an exact digital copy of your painting we have the ability to create a Giclee' Reproduction. With your image safely stored in our archives you can be assured of our ability to replace it or make inexpensive duplicates.

I work from color photographs. You can email or mail to me. Send images at least 720x1080 pixels or send 4x6 or larger pictures in the mail if you prefer.

Photos should be in focus and show reasonable detail. I can also create a portrait based upon a Black & White photo as the reference, additional charges will apply on a case by case basis because it requires a lot more communication and work to get the colors just right.

Portraits that involve highly detailed backgrounds or other special features, may incur additional cost, this will be discussed and agreed upon prior to commencement of work.

Once you have made your decision on the size and number of subjects, we will discuss what you want. I’ll email an initial composition to you for your approval and can send you periodic images for your input and suggestions. I will make the requested changes until you are totally satisfied. You will never get an unhappy surprise. You will know exactly what you are getting before you pay for it. If you are not pleased with the finished painting you will owe me nothing, painting then becomes the sole property of the artist.

Prices include setting up the completed painting stretched in a frame ready or gallery wrap style with black edges. Custom framing is available for an additional charge, there are many options for packing and shipping and we can discuss those options on an individual basis.
